EPTA-UK Bedford

EUROPEAN PIANO TEACHERS ASSOCIATION

Lorraine has been Regional Organiser for the newly formed EPTA UK Bedford Region for three years now and organises events such as Masterclasses, Concerts and Competitions for local piano students and enthusiasts.

Bedford is a very musically active town with some excellent schools, music clubs and  beautiful concert venues including the Corn Exchange where the Philharmonia have a residency, and so the new EPTA region in the town is a well supported and welcome addition.

As EPTA Regional Organiser for Bedford,  Lorraine hosts a series of both formal and informal events, these include:

Regular Piano Platform evenings for adult pianists and teachers

Discussion groups for teachers

Workshops and concerts for pupils of Lorraine and other teachers

 Duet evenings

Bedfordshire Piano Meetup Group (offering informal performance opportunities to adults at all levels)

Workshops and recitals by visiting  piano professionals and music educators.
